Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Private Beta

Mu Han bloged about the new version of LCS, called Office Communication Server 2007 but at this momente it will be available only 2500 companies and my company is not one of them :(

I am happy to tell you that we opened a private beta of our new version of Office Communications Server 2007, to 2,500 companies. What’s special about this version is that it has a lot of the VoIP capabilities built in. The coolest thing I have experienced as an early tester is the freedom to make VoIP and video calls no matter where I am without going through the trouble of VPN.

Exchange Server 2007 Transport Rules Editor GUI

This subject was my first article that I’ve written here in the MSExchange.org, you can check out it at http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Transport-Rule...7.html

The post of today in MsExchangeTeam talked about the same subject, as it follows:

Exchange Server 2007 provides an easy and flexible way to set rules for message routing and content restriction by Transport Rules. Transport Rules can be managed with an Exchange Management Console Transport Rules Editor wizard or within the Exchange Management Shell (shell). The Transport Rules Editor wizard is designed to be very similar to the Outlook Rules Wizard, a familiar interface. This blog post introduces the Transport Rules Editor GUI and illustrates how to use it to accomplish an Ethical Firewall scenario.

Exchange Server 2007 Export Mailbox task

Exporting Mailbox Content

Export-Mailbox is a task developed by the migration team to allow Administrators to export content from active mailboxes to a folder inside other active mailboxes. The initial idea for this task was to be a complete replacement for ExMerge. The implementation of some of this functionality was problematic and it required more time than initially planned. In this post I will describe what we are missing, which workarounds are available, and some of our future plans.
