Deploying Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager

Deploying Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager in a Remote Database Configuration is a technical document that will teach you to install and configure a Business Contact Manager for Outlook database by using Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Overview: Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager uses a SQL Server 2005 database for storing its data. By default, configuring Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager with any Outlook profile creates a SQL database on the local computer. Instead of creating a database on the local computer, you can choose to connect to an existing database on a remote server. You can deploy SQL Server 2005 on the remote computer and then create a Business Contact Manager database on that computer. If you use SQL Server 2005 Standard SP1 or SQL Server 2005 Workstation SP1, you can get greater scalability by allowing simultaneous clients using Business Contact Manager for Outlook to connect to the database.

Now if someone can just tell me where I can buy some hosting of said remote database I’ll be able to get this whole thing to work.

Intermedia will not do this. Anybody have any suggestions?
