The new Certificate Wizard in Exchange 2010 RC

As some of you might have noticed the new Exchange 2010 RC, which went public a while ago, includes a great new certificate wizard. This wizard can be used to create, import, assign, renew, and export certificates in Exchange 2010.

This makes it a lot easier for all the non-PowerShell geeks to manage certificates in Exchange 2010.

Once you get to the page where you specify the SAN names, you can see that the Exchange PG spend quite some time making this wizard somehow intelligent!

Go check it out! You access it via the Server Configuration work center in the EMC.

It’s just a wizard for creating cert requests, importing/exporting certs and assign them to Exchange services.

The request must still be sent to an internal PKI or an external CA provider.
